We are recruiting Board Members

The Caring and Sharing Exchange is recruiting for a Board of Directors which meets 6 times a year, for not more than 90 minutes, plus a strategic planning session once a year. The Board is responsible for the financial well being of the agency, as well as setting policy. We are currently looking for people with business, legal or accounting background. Special Events!

Are you a ‘people person’ who enjoys dealing with the public, possess strong communication skills, and like to have fun? We require volunteers who are willing to attend and help with a number of fundraising events and information fairs that occur throughout the year.

Sign up for one event or as many events as you like. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, service groups and businesses to get involved.  In the Additional Comments section on the online volunteer application, please indicate which event you are interested in helping with.

Envelope Stuffing

If you are efficient folding letters and stuffing envelopes, there will be thousands to prepare for our next mailing! You will get to meet other generous volunteers like you, and you'll get some snacks and beverages... Our next envelope stuffing will be in the Spring (dates to be determined).

Time Availability: Will be weekdays, between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm.

NOTE: Due to the handling of confidential client information, volunteers must be 18 years and older and sign a confidentiality agreement.

Computer Data Entry

Volunteers are needed in November and December every year to help enter clients information into the centralized database as well as donations in the donor database. Excellent keyboarding skills and attention to detail are required!

Telephone Calls

Do you have a friendly voice and enjoy talking with people over the phone? Volunteers are needed in November and December to make phone calls to confirm appointments for toy pick-ups and hampers deliveries. The ability to speak other languages is a definite asset.
