Charitable Giving Never Tasted Better!

Bon Appetit Ottawa event on May 1^st 2012 5:30 pm

bonappetitottawa The sixteenth annual Bon Appetit Ottawa fundraising event will take place May 1^st at the brand new Capital Exhibition Centre, with doors opening at 5:30. This state-of-the-art venue will showcase the exceptional offerings of more than 90 restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries.

Take this opportunity to sample the best from the finest in the area while helping 22 local charities with the very important assistance they provide to our community.

Insensitivity Training: Comedy with Balls

On December 11th at YukYuk's Comedy Club (292 Elgin) the coolest improvisation team in town, Insensitivity Training, fought poverty with laughter. With a little Christmas twist, it was a great comedy night, there was free eggnog, there were door prizes, special guests, people had a great time and felt even better about helping Ottawa families at the same time!

We don't take your photo. We give it to you! Help-Portrait is a global movement of photographers using their time, gear and expertise to give back to those in need. Members of the community were invited to get their picture taken for FREE on December 10th 2011, at Ottawa City Hall.
