The Ornament Design Contest is over and the public has chosen the winning design! "Stars 2011" by the artist Alexandra Philip, a student attending Gloucester High School, depicts a multitude of stars and is produced in pewter. What makes this ornament so unique is a backing of copper that covered the roofs of Canada’s Parliament Buildings from 1918 to 1996.
The cost per ornament is $30. 100% of that goes to the Christmas Exchange Program. Call the Caring and Sharing Exchange at 613-226-6434 to buy one.
