Can I get my tax receipt by email?

If you make an online donation, you will receive a donation receipt by email. Please ensure that you enter your email address correctly. (NOTE: Gmail users, please check your spam box. Donation receipts often end up there). Our system of processing other types of donations is not set up to send tax receipts by email. However, we are currently looking into providing this service in the near future.

Can I only get one donor request letter a year instead of multiple mailings?

We send three mailings a year – March, September, and November. If you would like to receive our donor request letter only once a year, please contact Sui-Ling Leung at 613-226-6434, ext 226 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and let us know in which month you would prefer to receive your mailing. You can also indicate it on the pledge form of the letter.

How do I take my name off your mailing list?

Do you sell or exchange donor names with other organizations?

No, the Caring and Sharing Exchange does not sell or trade names of our donors with other organizations. You can also view the the Caring and Sharing Exchange Privacy Policy.
